Josh Cohen merges calculated information architecture and striking design in a manner that delivers effective brand experiences to online audiences. For over a decade, Josh’s focus on engaging business goals with immersive interactive experiences has yielded numerous award-winning projects for his clients and partners.
Josh is actively working with some of the most innovative and creative agencies and organizations in the Philadelphia area as a freelance Creative Director and UI Designer. Recently he completed UX Design work with Comcast/Xfinity.com, designing and innovating on the experience where new and existing Xfinity customers can subscribe and manage their TV, Internet and Voice options. Before that, Josh served as Creative Director at WebLinc, an eCommerce Software company creating online shopping experiences for some of the fastest growing brands online. Prior to joining WebLinc, Josh served as Design Director at Philly.com, the largest news and media website in the Philadelphia region. There, he led a complete redesign of the experience which increased the site’s audience to over 5 million monthly unique visitors and serving nearly 100 million page views each month.
Josh has worked with a number of Philadelphia-area interactive agencies including Electronic Ink, Empathy Lab (EPAM), Rosetta, Singularity Design and NetPlus Marketing. Josh has led design activities on accounts for many brands including Clarins, Gamestop, Verizon, Lexmark, Kensington Computer Products, 21st Century Insurance, Cablevision, The New York Stock Exchange, MBNA Bank, SEI Investment, as well as several pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.
Josh lives in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia with his wife Shira, his daughter Ruby, and a few lazy cats. He prefers travel to the Caribbean, but anywhere with a decent beach and warm water will suffice. Josh is a trained Porsche Club of America Driving Instructor. When not slowing down on the sand, he can be found driving his BMW M3 around racetracks throughout the Northeast.
